We are called to act on our faith - seeking to put God's love into action. At this time of year, as we take time to reflect, I think back to my time in Romania earlier this summer and how, through Youth Build the last few years, I have had the opportunity to put my faith into action through serving the local communities in Romania.
I think of these 4 children (right), all siblings who would visit the building site each day. These children wore the same ill fitting clothes each time we saw them – we also saw their truly inadequate housing. This community center once completed would allow them to go there each day for a meal and school lessons.
Do all the good you CAN, by all the means you CAN, in all the ways you CAN, in all the places you CAN, at all the times you CAN, to all the people you CAN, AS LONG AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.
